Ajna has been working as a professional dancer approximately for nine years. She has gone through hundreds of solo and group performances, she proved her talent either on stage or during the preparation of projects for firm parties. Her rich experiences and a unique specialization in Asian dancing styles (
Chinese, Japanese, Polynesian dances,
Hawaii,
Tahiti and
Cook Islands dances) ensure a great and magnificent spectacle. All dancing performances and choreography come from the production of Ajna herself, or the
Trn v Oku dancing group, where Ajna acts as an art director and a manager. We put quality first, that is why we carefully train and study every single dancing style before it appears in our repertory. You can learn more about our professional achievements in the section References. There you can also find more information about Ajna’s current activities.
Ajna – it is more than a dance
Brilliantly composed programmes, which offer complex entertainment for various people or groups, can be also considered a part of Ajna’s professional repertory. Different types of performances are interestingly mixed together – dance, fight or fencing exhibitions, life music, juggler’s and fakir’s tricks. All is performed by professional artists, fencers and stuntmen.

Ajna was born in the south of Slovakia to a family with a Hungarian background. Maybe it is her origin which gives her dancing exposure such a unique characteristic. Ajna has been interested in dance ever since her childhood. She performed her first exhibitions and choreographies when she was no more than twelve years old. Since the age of seventeen she has been dancing intensively. She attended the courses of a modern expressive dance, scenic dance and a classical ballet. She also discovered the magic of historical dances within the frame of her activities in the amateur theatre where she functioned for two years. It was as well the time when she started to mix various features and styles in her own projects. During her studies of the Hungarian Philology and Sinology at Charles University in Prague she uncovered the beauty of the Orient; she then started to practice not only the belly dance and the oriental dance, but also, thanks to her knowledge of Chinese, the Asian dance. Asian and Eastern dances and the Chinese culture introduced the traditional Chinese combat art- Wu shu or Win tsung- to her.
