Gipsy dance and Ajna

Ajna has been professionally pursuing the problematic of the gipsy dancing since 2001 when she started performing on the music of the Czech interpreters. However, the gipsy culture has always seemed familiar to her; being born in the south of Slovakia, she has been in the close contact with the gipsy people and their style of life. The repertory of her gipsy dances had later been enriched by other regional variants – Balkan, Turkey and India. The important part of the whole performance is then created by a splendid music which acts as a precious source of inspiration for a dancer.
