Gipsy dances can be also considered a part of the oriental dances. Gipsy culture and its hint may be observed in India as well as in Europe. Gipsy dances have always been inspired by the culture of the world, depending on where the gipsy folk were brought by its nomadic way of life. One feature is, however, permanent for all gipsy dances, and it is rampancy and the zest of life itself. The gipsy dances I perform are mainly about wildness and a fire burning in one’s heart.
Various types of gipsy dances:

- The dance with a fan

Gipsy dances and Me
I was enchanted by the gipsy dances long time ago. Now I have been active in this field for more than 7 years, studying it both theoretically and practically. I principally specialise in the gipsy dances from Europe (Slovakia, Hungary) and Balkan, Turkey (dancing on the ground) and India. I try very hard to summon all my temperament, dynamics and sensuality while dancing, as these are the main and essential characteristics of a gipsy dance.
