Charleston got its name after the American city of Charleston in South Carolina. The dance became very popular particularly in the 20ties thanks to the famous “Runnin’ Wild” Broadway musical. Charleston has also been an inspiration for genres such as Jazz or the Lindy Hop dance. Nowadays, Charleston is performed solo, with a partner or in well coordinated groups.
Charleston Performances

We perform both solo or in a group of 1-6 dancers. In the latter case, Charleston is then followed by another cabaret performance with music from the musical Chicago. The Charleston show can create a perfect combination with the stuntman exhibition in the 20ties and 30ties United States Mafia style. Gun battles, hand–to–hand combats, knife fights. The performance is delivered by two or more people. The audience can be also involved in the programme after consulting this fact to the production team. Charleston can be combined with Cancan or the Fire Show, too.
